Volunteer Centre

Volunteer Centre Birmingham logoVolunteer Centre Birmingham is run by BVSC, the Centre for Voluntary Action.

The Centre aims to:

  • put people in contact with organisations where they can volunteer
  • provide advice and information to organisations on involving volunteers

We aim to:

  • ensure that prospective volunteers are aided in the process of registering
  • provide a high standard of customer care to prospective volunteers, organisations and the public using the Centre
  • find out what clients are looking for in terms of volunteer work so that we can be best placed to advise them
  • encourage clients to use the phone in the Centre to phone employers and to 'start the application process'
  • advise where possible on issues related to volunteering
  • promote the positive elements and success stories from volunteering
