As less funding is available more and more groups are thinking about alternative sources of income and ways of becoming more independent.
This one-day workshop provided by National Council for Voluntary Organisations is aimed at voluntary and community groups that would like to know more about being less dependant on funding and being more financially sustainable. It is suitable for organisations new to the idea of financial sustainability and those who are considering options such as trading or delivering public services but needing ideas.
Topics for the day include:-
· What is sustainable funding? Why is it important?
· Putting planning first
· Full cost analysis and recovery
· Trading goods and services
· Delivering and transforming public services
