Time To Change Grants Round 2

Time to Change supports projects that change public attitudes by bringing people with and without mental health problems together to drive attitude and change behaviour in communities.

Grants are being awarded to projects that are led by people with first hand experience of mental health problems or have high level of leadership for people with personal experience throughout all aspects of the project.   They are looking for projects that engage local communities in meaningful conversations about mental health, in diverse, creative and effective ways.  

25% of the fund is for projects run by and for people from Black and Minority Ethnic communities, and 20% is for projects that work with young people.  In Round Two of funding they will be awarding grants to children and young people’s projects that are based in the West Midlands region only

To be eligible – have to be either:

  • A not-for-profit constituted group or organisation, or

 

  • Working in partnership with a not-for-profit constituted group or organisation that can hold and administer the grant?

AND

  • Based in England?
  • With the skills and resources to develop and manage a fresh and exciting project?

What funding is available?

The grants fund will award grants in four different bands. These amounts are for the lifetime of the
project.

  • Small grants: up to £20,000 (minimum £10,000)
  • Medium grants: up to £40,000
  • Large grants: up to £80,000 (multi-regional)
  • Flagship grants: up to £100,000 (multi-regional)

Large and flagship grants must work in more than one region.
