Tendering Opportunities for Third Sector Organisations
Physical activity tendering opportunities with bWell.
bWell Birmingham is part of the successful £6.8 million bid to the Big Lottery Fund, called Living Well in the west Midlands, which was presented to the Lottery via the West Midlands Regional Assembly.
The aim of Living Well in the West Midlands is to launch innovative projects to promote mental wellbeing, physical activity, healthy food and nutrition across the whole region.
This will be achieved by bringing together representatives from the public, private, voluntary and community sectors to provide the economic and social support needed for their success.
bWell is now ready to tender out the Physical Activities provision supporting the bWell Communities strand of the programme. The deadline for submission is 12 noon on Wednesday 4th June.
bWell have separated out different themes from within the spectrum of potential activities, and are asking organisations to bid for whichever strand most closely relates to their area of anticipated provision. The themes are as follows.
- Diet & Nutrition
- Sports
- Green Recreation
- Activities
- Volunteers & Volunteering
- Specialists
Each theme will be separate and distinct however, each organisation is welcome to submit tenders for whichever theme or themes best suit. No organisation is restricted in the number of submissions made, and may complete tenders for all six headings if felt appropriate.
You will need to download, the Programmes for Tender, the Commissioning Process, and Pre Qualification Questionnaire (PQQ).
Please read all paper work fully before completing the PQQ, and be aware of deadlines and instructions.
