EU Youth in Action

West Midlands European Network are providing advice and guidance to organisations submitting applications to the Youth Exchange priority of the EU Youth Programme. I Midlands.

WMEN are running seminars to explore the programme in more depth from 10am - 12.30pm on Tuesday 17 June and Wednesday 9 July at the Custard Factory in Birmingham.  The cost will be £20 for voluntary sector organisations and youth groups and £40 for public sector organisations.  WMEN's seminars are not open to representatives of private sector organisations.

The Birmingham Chamber of Commerce is holding a 'Welcome to 
Tendering Breakfast Morning' (breakfast included!!)  to answer questions of this type.

Aims for the morning include challenging myths about tendering being only for 'big' companies and to increase knowledge and understanding of public tendering.

Project Management

18 to 20 June 2008

Covering every stage from project brief to exit strategy, an introductory course requiring no prior experience of project management. If you have a project in mind you can try out new techniques and use voluntary sector case studies .

Cost for all courses : £60 per person VSOs, £195 per person statutory organisations.  Includes overnight accommodation and meals.
