Mapping social enterprise in Birmingham

ISE, with support from Be Birmingham are starting an exciting new project to identify new markets for social enterprise.

ISE aims to develop and pilot a brokerage service between purchaser and provider to support the growth of social enterprises working in Birmingham.  In other words, we want to act as an intermediary between social enterprises and the public and private sectors, by way of matching your organisation’s skills with potential market opportunities to increase your success in obtaining contracts and selling your product or service.

The first stage of the project is to map all the social enterprises working across Birmingham. Over the coming weeks we will be phoning your organisation for information on the products and services that you offer. We want to do this because currently there is no broker service mediating between purchaser and provider - although very few commissioners and providers work in partnership, they are both working towards the same outcomes!

If you are interested in finding out more, or are a social enterprise and would like to ensure your organisation is included in the mapping of the sector, please contact Amber or Elizabeth at iSE on 0121 771 1411 or email us: amber.woodfull@i-se.co.uk or elizabeth.barker@i-se.co.uk
