Sporting Equals is pleased to announce that Sport England has now opened its second funding round for applications as part of a £50million programme to refurbish and improve up to 1000 community sports projects through The Inspired Facilities fund (part of the Places People Play legacy programme to bring the magic of a home Olympic and Paralympic Games into communities across the country).

Since the launch of the Surviving Winter Appeal on the 10th November, Birmingham and Black Country Community Foundation (BBCCF) have raised over £10,000 to help older and vulnerable people stay warm this winter. Around 40 people have been helped so far, with referrals still coming in.
