Community Transport Training

Minibus and Passenger Assistant Training.

Community Transport is currently supported by the National Lottery to deliver low-cost, high-quality training
to the voluntary and statutory sectors. We aim to deliver a flexible and friendly service to
all our customers.

MIDAS -Minibus Driver Assessment Scheme

A nationally accredited training course for minibus drivers. This training is particularly suitable for teachers, youth workers and volunteer drivers.

PATS -Passenger Assistant Training Scheme

A nationally accredited course for passenger assistants and escorts. This training is designed for people who look after children or vulnerable adults whilst they travel.

MIDAS – Car & MPV Training

This training is applicable for any organisation operating vehicles with less than 9 passenger seats – including passenger cars. This includes voluntary and public sector organisations operating hire programmes or volunteer car schemes.

Emergency Evacuation from Vehicles Training

A highly interactive and participative training course that provides delegates with the skills and knowledge to help them deal with emergencies and successfully assist passengers from smoke-filled minibuses.

We can also deliver Manual Handling, D1 and Health & Safety training, which is licensed by the British Safety Council and delivered by City & Guilds’ approved trainers.
