Welcome

Welcome is a project working with refugees and asylum seekers in North Handsworth and managed by a group of local churches.
 
We have a vacancy for a project worker, whose work will include co-ordinating our Drop-in Centre which operates from Elmwood United Reformed Church every Friday.

Hours:  8 hours p.w.
Salary: £10 per hour

The person we need  will be committed to dealing sensitively with disadvantaged people of all races, nationality, languages and religion.  S/he should be competent in word processing & database work, and experience in supporting volunteers & working with refugees would be helpful.
