OSCAR Birmingham wish to appoint the following individual to further assist the organisation.

Support Worker
Salary range: £13,995- £14 500

Responsibility of the post:

A mature individual to work as part of a team in Birmingham providing support to individuals affected by Sickle Cell and Thalassaemia blood disorders, assisting them to overcome barriers that limit their input in various aspects.

You will need to work on your own initiative, have experience of working with medical and professional bodies, possess excellent oral and written communication skills, have at least 2 years experience working with ethnic minorities, have reasonable knowledge of the issues relating to provisions for individuals with disabilities or chronic illness, develop and maintain good working relationships with clients and have a commitment to Equal Opportunities.
