Implementation Adviser

The post is based in Birmingham.

The Commission for the Compact is looking for an Implementation Adviser to help it promote greater use of the Compact at local and national level.  The Implementation Adviser will work with public bodies and third sector organisations to identify barriers to Compact implementation and provide support, advice and guidance to overcome those barriers.

The Commission for the Compact is an independent organisation set up to oversee the relationship between government and the voluntary and community sector.  Its functions include building evidence, influencing policy and sharing good practice in order to achieve better implementation of the Compact.  The Compact is the agreement between government and the voluntary and community sector, designed to improve their working relationship for mutual advantage and community gain.

You should be educated to degree level or equivalent and have significant experience of developing and delivering support and training.

This new post is on a pay scale rising from £32,820 (min) to £35,525 (target).  The starting salary for the successful applicant will be £32,820.  We also offer 25 days holiday, flexible working and the option of joining a non-contributory pension scheme.
