Green Roof
Welcome to BVSC's green roof.
Installed in 2007 and funded by the SITA Trust, our green roof has been designed to provide a surrogate habitat for the rare, black redstart and other species. As well as being a haven for wildlife, green roofs provide a wide range of environmental benefits including reducing air pollution, urban cooling and reducing flood risk.
BVSC's green roof is also part of UNESCO global water management project. Find out more at the Switch Birmingham Website.
Green Roof Webcam
Funding from Biffaward allows BVSC to tranmit live images to the main foyer area at BVSC and regular image updates to our web site.
