The Third Sector Database was launched by BVSC in 2009 as a resource for Birmingham. As well as holding contact data about voluntary and community organisations in Birmingham it is also the route by which organisations can join BVSC and the Assembly Networks.
Local Strategic Partnership (LSP)
LSPs bring together representatives from the local statutory, voluntary, community and private sectors to address local problems, allocate funding, discuss strategies and initiatives. Birmingham's LSP is Be Birmingham.

A co-working space for social entrepreneurs based at BVSC's offices in Digbeth.
Over the past four years, BVSC has surveyed a sample of third sector organisations in Birmingham in order to establish the size, shape and support needs of the sector. The reports analyse this data, identifying changes from the previous studies in order to produce a current snapshot of third sector organisations in the city.

A network developed to improve communication across the sector, to grow its ability to influence and to improve relationships with the public sector.
