Find volunteer opportunities

If you are looking for a volunteering opportunity, you will need to complete an online registration form on do-it.org.uk or come into Volunteer Centre Birmingham where we can help you do this.

Once you have registered, you can search and apply for as many opportunities as you like.

You can also find opportunities and information on how to get involved in your local community, for example:

  • how to join local forums or attend ward meetings
  • how to influence decisions and make a difference
  • how to start e-petitions

at Be Involved which is an online signposting service that helps you explore how you can get involved and help shape Birmingham.

Why do I need to register with Do-it?

  • It will give you easy access to search 000's of voluntary work placements in the Birmingham area
  • You only have to register once, you can then apply for any number of volunteering opportunities
  • You can instantly apply online for any volunteering opportunity you find  
  • Registering with Do-It means we can contact you with potential roles that may suit you

What happens after I register?

After you register you are can search and apply for volunteer opportunities online.

That's fine you don't have to.  Please come into the office and we can register you as a volunteer and talk through the various opportunities you might be interested in.
