This training is provided by the Somali Development Group. The aim of the course is to give participants an understanding of general Somali culture and Somali Diaspora. This includes discussing how Somali's come to the UK, how they are settling in, issues that they face, reasons for high unemployment, the gaps between youths and their parents, the history of the country and more.

The Fair is aimed at all Aston year students wishing to take a Gap Year, summer internship or looking to volunteer for a charity either after graduating or during their time at University. 30 organisations attended the event held last February with approximately 250 students coming along over the two hours. The event is being held in Aston Students’ Guild this year.
