Remember all who died in the nuclear bomb attacks on Nagasaki and Hiroshima on August 6th, 1945, a US nuclear bomb destroyed the city of Hiroshima in Japan. Three days later a second US bomb destroyed the City of Nagasaki. Never before or since has a nuclear bomb been used in war.
Join members of West Midlands Campaign for Nuclear Disarmament with the Clarion Singers, to commemorate the 140,000 people who died in those attacks, and the millions who have died in war since 1945.
The Bomb and Humanity, an exhibition of prints of paintings and photographs by survivors will be on show in:
Birmingham Cathedral, from Aug 3rd to 10th. Followed by
Birmingham Central Library, 3rd floor from Aug 10th to 17th
