Healthwatch Birmingham Public Consultation Event

When:
21 Aug 2012 - 18:00
Where:
Carrs Lane Church

Healthwatch Birmingham will build upon a successful history of engagement across the city and listen to local people to help design future local health and social care services to meet the needs of our population.

Healthwatch will be a new independent consumer champion working to strengthen the voice of patients, users of services and the public.

This public consultation is about how Healthwatch should be set up in Birmingham to work for you and your community.

Healthwatch Birmingham will be an independent organisation; open to everyone.  It will bring together the views and experiences of Birmingham people to improve health and social care services.  In doing this, it will see which groups are not being heard and find ways for them to be represented.  This is your opportunity to tell us what you want from your Healthwatch.

As part of our current consultation on developing Healthwatch Birmingham we will be holding a public meeting to get your views.

You are invitied to come along to this event to find out more about Healtwatch and to share your views.

The meeting will take place on the 21st August at Carrs Lane Church at 6:00pm.

If you would like to come along, then please register here: http://bit.ly/bhwcevent

We would really like to hear your views on how Healthwatch Birmingham should be developed and this will provide an opportunity for you tell us things that we haven’t asked in the consultation questionnaire.

We are encouraging as many people as possible to participate in this consultation so that we can create a Healthwatch that works for you and your community.
