The VCS Matters network supports the voluntary and community sector (VCS) to improve the lives of children and young people in Birmingham by providing services that promote best practice and enable effective engagement with the policy agenda.

If your organisation works with children and young people in Birmingham, we offer you free Network Membership with: 

  • information on the policy agenda and how to engage with statutory & voluntary sector partners 
  • priority eNewsflashes on Birmingham City Council information, consultations & tendering 
  • fortnightly eNews with local and national updates, and an eNewsfeed with latest news items

  • networking opportunities at VCS Matters Summits and other events
  • the right to stand for VCS Matters Representative in the Children’s Trust arrangements
  • entry on the BVSC ThirdSectorDatabase  to make your work more visible and accessible
  • the right to vote, nominate and be elected within VCS Matters.
