BVSC has been supporting the voluntary sector by providing back office financial services such as payroll and accountancy since the 1980s. We have now added a Human Resources consultancy service to our range of corporate services.

Payroll

The payroll bureau relieves voluntary organisations from the burden of administering payroll, ensures staff are paid on time and that legal obligations are met. It includes:

Calculation of monthly salary and any overtime or additional payments
Calculation of Statutory Sick, Maternity and Paternity pay
Deductions, attachments or employees’ pension contributions
Payment of employees’ salary by BACS direct to their account
Leavers P45s issued
Monthly payslip and year end P60
Payment of Tax and NI Liabilities to the Inland Revenue
Completion of end of year returns

Our charges are £100 per person per year plus VAT.

Accountancy

We can offer either a fully outsourced finance department that includes:

Payment of invoices
Banking
Preparation of budgets
Monthly Income and Expenditure reports by project
Preparation of Annual Accounts

Preparation of Annual Accounts
Independent Examination of Annual Accounts
Advice on budgeting and financial management

Our charges are £25-£35 per hour dependent upon the level of expertise required, fully itemised invoices will be provided.
