This Select Committee Enquiry looks at the increasing role of the voluntary and community sector in shaping and delivering services to improve quality of life.
Voluntary and community organisations must be able to contribute fully to decision making processes about service needs at an early stage by helping to design and commission solutions to meet those needs. The National Council for Voluntary Organisations (NCVO) argues, in its evidence submission, that the third sector is well equipped to meet the needs of individuals and communities.
